Introducing Urua

Most days, getting one simple thing done in your estate takes more than it should. A pot of soup means a trip to the market. A forgotten charger means finding someone heading to the shops. Dinner means deciding whether you have the energy to cook. Urua is one app that handles all three, and brings the result to your gate.

We built it for how people in Abuja and Lagos actually live: inside estates, with a gate between you and the rest of the city. So Urua works estate-by-estate, with runners, vendors and chefs who already know your area.

Three things you can do

Urua isn't trying to be everything. It does three things, and tries to do them well.

Order a meal from an estate chef. Browse kitchens near you, pick a dish, and have it cooked and delivered. No phone calls, no guessing whether they're open.

Shop any market without going yourself. Build a shopping list, and a local vendor sources it at the market — Wuse, your nearest one, wherever — then a runner carries it home. You see a quote before anyone buys a thing.

Send a runner on an errand. Need a pickup from across the estate, or a delivery from a store? A runner handles it while you carry on with your day.

How it works

The flow is the same whichever one you pick. Request. A runner handles it. Delivered.

You request what you want in the app and see the price up front. Payment happens in-app through OPay, so no cash changes hands at the gate. Then a trusted runner shops, picks up or carries your order, and you track it live from cart to gate. Three taps. No phone calls.

Where we are

Urua is live in Abuja and Lagos and opening one estate at a time. We'd rather grow carefully and keep the service honest than promise the whole country overnight. If we're not in your estate yet, install the app anyway — it's how we know where to go next.
